Eligible households can use the online postcode checker on Gov.uk to see if their postcode has received any triggers.
Triggered postcodes should receive their £25 automatically within 14 working days of the cold weather.
To receive the automatic payments, residents must be claiming at least one of the following benefits:
- Pension Credit
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Universal Credit
- Support for Mortgage Interest.
