Chelsea 'ready to sell' Todd Boehly signing after just 12 months and could raid Arsenal

co-owner Todd Boehly is reportedly prepared to cut his losses on Robert Sanchez less than a year after signing him from . The Blues are believed to be eyeing up goalkeeper as the Spaniard’s replacement ahead of what could be a busy summer transfer window.

Sanchez, who has not played since mid-December due to a knee injury, set Chelsea back a whopping £25million despite having fallen out of favour with the Seagulls. He started the season as the undisputed No 1 under Mauricio Pochettino.

But his recent injury absence opened the door to the impressive Djordje Petrovic, and it is unclear whether there will be any way back into the side for Sanchez. According to HITC, Chelsea would be willing to cash in on the Spaniard if the right offer arrives this summer.

Pochettino and co are said to be ‘unconvinced’ by the 26-year-old, who spent time on loan at Forest Green Rovers and Rochdale during his spell at Brighton.

And his prospective exit would pave the way for Chelsea to make a move for Ramsdale. The same report states that the 25-year-old is ‘ready’ to leave the Emirates Stadium after slipping behind David Raya in the pecking order.

Ramsdale was Arsenal’s first-choice keeper last season as Mikel Arteta’s side came within five points of winning the Premier League title. But Raya’s summer arrival saw the England international ruthlessly dropped to the bench.

Kepa is set to return to Stamford Bridge as a result before being moved on to pastures new. Young goalkeeper prospect Lucas Bergstrom is also poised to leave Chelsea as he approaches the expiration of his contract in June.

A rethink at the back is hardly surprising as Pochettino’s side have conceded 41 goals in 25 Premier League matches this season – eight more than 17th-place Everton.
