Hot tub holidays are available across Away Resorts’ half a dozen UK parks nestled among the countryside or beside the sea, staying in its wooden cabins, luxury caravans and chalets with access to lots of winter-themed events.

Appealing locations include scenic Barmouth Bay in North Wales and Tattershall Lakes in Lincolnshire, with a handful of fantastic resorts on Mersea Island in Essex, Hayling Island and the New Forest in the south.

If you’re looking for a peaceful grown-up getaway, Mill Rythe Holiday Village in Hayling Island is adults-only during term time, so you can kick back in a hot tub with a glass of bubbly without being disturbed with 2-night stays from £266.

Similarly the park at Mersea Island in Essex offers a traditional seaside break with great accommodation and outdoor hot tubs, including the Oyster Cottage from £293 for a 2-night stay in November.

The modern Tribeca chalets feature New York inspired décor, roll-top baths and floor-to-ceiling windows to bring the outside in from £268 for a 2-night stay this winter season.

Meanwhile if you prefer a bit more action – and the smell of mulled wine – Away Resorts is making it easy for visitors to get into the festive spirit with special festivals at two of its parks.

Sandy Balls in the New Forest transforms into a winter wonderland from November onwards, illuminating the park for the Forest of Light festival.

There will be snow in the village square, fairy lights festooned across the grounds and illuminated trails to wander along.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a pantomime, and Sandy Balls is putting on live performances of Mother Goose throughout the festival, with Santa stopping by the site for a visit too.

Along with Sandy Balls, the company’s Tattershall Lakes resort in Lincolnshire is going all-out for Christmas.

From 5 November until New Year’s Eve, the site is hosting a brand-new Family Winterfest, making it ideal for a fun-packed Fireworks Night, pre-Christmas break or New Year’s Eve celebration.

We found stays during the festivities from £307 for 2 nights in a Superior Wooden Lodge with a hot tub at Sandy Balls, or from £219 for 2 nights in a Comfort Caravan with a hot tub at Tattershall Lakes.

Stays in Tribeca chalets are available from £268.

Bookings are for a minimum of two nights, with the cheapest hot tub holidays in a superior caravan, or upgraded stays in a variety of luxury lodges.

Extra touches include the option to select your own welcome pack such as an afternoon tea tray, a selection of wines, a games night pack, or a birthday pack for special celebrations to get your break off to a great start.
