Binge Now On Samsung TV's – channelnews – ChannelNews

As the streaming battle heats up between Foxtel and the Nine network’s Stan, we can exclusively reveal that Samsung Australia’s #1 TV brand has cut a deal to include an integrated Binge streaming service on their TV’s

Owners of a Samsung TV will now be able to access Foxtel, Kayo and Binge on Samsung TV’s manufactured between 2017 and 2020.

Foxtel saw its total paying subscribers increase by 7% to 3.287 million as of September 30.

There are currently 298,000 paying Foxtel Now subscribers and the brand’s sport subscription service Kayo has 644,000 paying users.

According to the News Corp financials report, Sports-focused Kayo staged a recovery, after a coronavirus-impacted fourth quarter, up 77% on last year.

Of these subscribers, 2.055 million were residential and commercial broadcast subscribers.

The remaining 1.232 million consisted of Kayo, Foxtel Now and Binge subscribers.

As of September 30, there were 681,000 Kayo subscribers, 644,000 paying, compared to 430,000 subscribers, 364,000 paying, the prior year.

Binge, which launched in May, had 321,000, 290,000 paying, subscribers as of September 30.

Earlier this week we exclusively revealed that the JB Hi Fi house brand TV Ffalcon will include Stan on the remote.

Stan despite in market since 2015 has not revealed their paying subscribers, instead they chose to only talk about accounts which ChannelNews understands includes people who have got free accounts.

The network has not explained why they refuse to reveal paying subscribers.
