“We thank Ashutosh for his decade of dedicated service and wish him all the best for the future. As we continue to grow and scale our business in this strategic market, our APAC and India leadership teams will lean in as we finalize the appointment of a new country manager for India,” the company said in a statement.

LinkedIn has around 120 million members in India. The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to impact more than half of the jobs in India where an increasing number of professionals are embracing AI skills more than any other country, said Tomer Cohen, chief product officer at LinkedIn in an interview to ET last month.

Cohen said India is also among the top five countries with the most AI talent, and Indians are using AI skills three times more than the global average.
