Arsenal have been keeping a close eye on the events out in The Gambia as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the rest of the Gabon squad were held in an airport for six hours overnight without their passports. The Gunners are fuming about the incident, according to Gabon manager Patrice Neveu.
Arsenal have reportedly been left furious with the treatment of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang while on international duty with Gabon.
Aubameyang and his national side team-mates were held in an airport in Banjul Airport in The Gambia for six hours overnight.
Several of the footballing stars filmed themselves as they were forced to sleep on the floor without their passport the night before their clash against Gambia.
There were a few chuckles, as there usually are when Aubameyang is around, while there was also an air of disbelief from the players who earn thousands every week.
