Foot Locker is trying to stay relevant with young shoppers. The sneaker retailer has invested $12.5 million in Rockets of Awesome, a children’s clothing brand. Rockets of Awesome will be sold on the Foot Locker website, and be available inside some locations. This is Foot Locker’s latest investment in an online brand, and follows its $100 million investment in the sneaker resale platform Goat.
The Apple Watch could be able to track your sleep soon. Bloomberg is reporting that the company is holding studies to track sleep habits, and hopes to add it to the Apple Watch by 2020. Apple has been trying to position the watch as a health and fitness device, but the sleep-tracking feature is noticeably missing. While users can track their sleep through third-party apps, they have been held back by the watch’s limited battery life.
Amazon now sells milk. The e-commerce giant is selling Happy Belly Brand products through its grocery delivery service, including half-and-half, whipping cream, and lactose-free milk. Amazon has been trying to break into the fresh food business for over 10 years, and hopes that the new dairy products will boost subscribers of Fresh delivery service.
